Safe Environment Training

In accordance with the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), every parish and school will make certain that all adults (18 years or older) who have “on-going, unsupervised” contact with minors (whether employed or volunteer) will complete the annual Safe & Sacred Safe Environment training selected by the diocesan Office of Child & Youth Protection.

Two weeks BEFORE beginning any ministry involving such contact with minors, a person must get an annual training certificate and an approved background screening status.

All required staff/volunteers must receive updated annual training prior to ____________.
